You book and pay
Service, duration and time. The price is right there and you pay straight away, which locks in your slot.
Your Hero is assigned
You get the name, photo and reviews of the Hero who is coming. Not a match? Switch at no cost.
The doorbell rings
Your Hero brings everything. No settling up, that is already done. You can add a tip afterwards in the app.
We are starting in Rotterdam
Better to do it properly than to be everywhere. We are building a full network of Heroes in and around Rotterdam first, so we can still send someone tomorrow morning. After that we expand.

The more often, the better the price
Got on well with your Hero? Save them as a favourite and rebook with one tap. They know your home, your preferences and how you take your coffee, and you pay less the more often you book.
Applies with the same Hero. Your Hero earns no less for it; the discount comes out of our commission.

Demonstrable experience, Dutch Chamber of Commerce registration, valid ID and an introductory conversation.
Before you book
When do I pay?
Straight away when you book, by iDEAL, card or Apple Pay. That way your Hero knows the appointment is confirmed and keeps the time free for you. The price you see is the price you pay, with nothing added later. Tipping is welcome but never expected.
Can I cancel for free?
Up to 24 hours before the appointment, yes: you get a full refund, usually within two working days. Within 24 hours it is no longer possible. Your Hero has held that time and turned down other work, so those hours are paid out either way. Moving to another slot is sometimes possible, so do get in touch and we will see what we can do.
How quickly can someone come?
Often the same day. Choose the priority option when booking and someone is at your door within three hours. We charge a 25% surcharge for that, because your Hero rearranges their plans. Priority is available as long as someone nearby is free, and you can see straight away whether it is.
Do I need an account?
Yes. You create one at checkout, so only once you know what you are booking. We ask for your name, address, phone number and a payment method. We verify the phone number by text, so your Hero and we both know there is a real person behind the booking.
Who comes to my home?
Every Hero has been interviewed in person and checked on experience, business registration and identity. After booking you see their name, photo and reviews. Not comfortable? Request a different Hero at no cost.
Do I need to prepare anything?
No. Your Hero brings materials and equipment. For cleaning we use your own products by default, so let us know when booking if that does not work for you.
What if something goes wrong?
Report it within 48 hours. We look into it and put it right, either by having the work redone or by refunding you. Every Hero is insured for damage during the job.
Can I keep the same Hero?
Yes, and it pays. Save your Hero as a favourite and you will see straight away when they are free. From your third booking with the same Hero you get 5% off, and 10% from the fifth. On a regular schedule, such as fortnightly cleaning, the same person comes by default for as long as they are available.
Why keep booking through Covered?
Because you are better off here. You pay less the more often you book the same Hero, you are insured during the job, and if something goes wrong we sort it out. And if your Hero falls ill, we find a replacement so you do not have to.
